Know its aim
India's public broadcaster Prasar Bharati will host The Battle of the Bands and The Symphony of India challenges, which aim to blend modern music with traditional folk and celebrate classical Indian music.
What happens if selected?
Selected winners will get access to prestigious international platforms related to their field. For instance, the winner of the animation filmmaking competition will receive support to complete their project by collaborating with leading production houses and showcase their work at prestigious festivals like the Annecy Animation Film Festival. Similarly, the anime competition winner will be supported to participate in Japan's biggest anime event.
Meanwhile, Dancing Atoms is organising the animation filmmaker competition to nurture emerging talent and advance Indian animation.
The India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) will host a game jam to promote creativity in game development, while the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) will run the AI Art Installation Challenge, which will encourage innovation in art through AI.
This initiative reflects the government's commitment to strengthen India's creative industry, with a focus on providing opportunities for growth, networking and international recognition. Through these challenges, India aims to strengthen its position as a global leader in animation, gaming and visual arts and foster a vibrant creators' economy.
