Haryana Assembly Election 2024: Former Rajasthan Deputy CM and veteran Congress leader Sachin Pilot has claimed that Congress will get a huge majority in Haryana. Along with this, he has also reacted to who will be the Chief Ministerial face from the Congress side. He said that the decision on who will become the CM will be taken after the elections. It has been a long-standing tradition of the party that once the MLAs are elected, a meeting is held and after consultation with the high command, the face of the Chief Minister is decided. Every Congress leader said that whatever decision the party takes, they will go ahead with it.
'BJP's 10 years of policies rejected'
In an interview to news agency PTI, Congress leader Sachin Pilot said that campaigning is being done in Haryana by Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and other state leaders. Congress is standing strong for victory in Haryana. I will not be surprised if we break all previous records and get more seats than ever before. It can be more than two-thirds majority. If a CM is removed by BJP after 9 years, it means that he did not perform well. This time people have rejected BJP's 10 years of policies. People of all communities of the state have decided to bring Congress.
'Will win with a huge majority'
Pilot said that there is a consensus among the people of Haryana that they will become a strong voice against the ruling party in the Haryana assembly elections and will make the Congress win with a huge majority. People have been troubled by the three agricultural laws, insult to athletes, agricultural crisis. This time the Congress is fighting like a spirited campaign and I am confident that we will win this election with a huge majority.
The former Deputy CM also reacted on the elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that two phases of elections have been held in Jammu and Kashmir. Our alliance is contesting the elections strongly. Both the parties have released their manifestos. In Jammu and Kashmir too, we will be able to form the government with a big comfortable majority.
