Education: The central government has appointed IPS Daljit Singh Chaudhary as the chief of the Border Security Force (BSF). Daljit Singh Chaudhary was born on 25 November 1965. He is a 1990 batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Singh has previously been the Director General of the Border Security Force. He has also been posted as Special Director and Additional Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force.

Talking about the education of IPS Daljit Singh Chaudhary, he has studied BSc and LLB. IPS officer Daljit Singh Chaudhary is counted among the sharp officers of the country. IPS Chaudhary has been awarded the President's Medal three times so far. IPS Chaudhary will retire at the end of the year 2025. He has also been posted on many big posts in Uttar Pradesh. IPS Daljit Singh Chaudhary was born in Delhi.

According to reports, the Director General gets a salary of Rs 2.5 lakh along with many other facilities. These include accommodation, vehicle, medical facility, travel allowance etc. Many people have this question in their mind that BSF is under the Ministry of Defense. What is the work of BSF?

The full name of BSF is Border Security Force. This force is a major paramilitary force of India which was established on 1 December 1965. Its main task is to protect India's international borders. BSF is deployed on Pakistan and Bangladesh border. BSF works to prevent infiltration and smuggling on the country's border. Apart from this, it is the responsibility of BSF to maintain peace and security on the border. BSF helps the Indian Army in case of war or any other emergency.
