Share Market Opening 23rd August, 2024: On the last day of the week, Indian stock markets opened with gains. BSE's 30-share major index Sensex opened with a gain of 112.46 points at 81,165.65 points, while NSE's Nifty 50 also opened with a gain of 33.90 points at 24,845.40 points. After the market opened at 9.18 am, out of 30 Sensex companies, only 10 companies were seen in the green mark and the remaining 20 companies were in the red mark. Out of 50 companies of Nifty 50, shares of 24 started trading in the green mark and shares of 26 companies opened in the red mark.

Which stocks are seeing big action on Friday

By 09.18 am, Tata Motors shares were trading with the highest gain of 0.79 percent. Apart from this, Reliance was trading with a gain of 0.66 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.33 percent, Sun Pharma 0.28 percent, Adani Ports 0.26 percent. On the other hand, NTPC shares are trading with the highest decline of 0.67 percent. Indusind Bank and Infosys were trading with a decline of 0.59 percent.

The markets opened in the green on Thursday and closed in the green

Let us tell you that the stock market opened with gains on Thursday. Yesterday, the BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 301.94 points at 81,207.24 points, while the NSE Nifty 50 also opened with a gain of 93.20 points at 24,863.40 points. At the end of trading on Thursday, the Sensex closed with a gain of 147.89 points at 81,053.19 points and the Nifty 50 also closed with a gain of 41.30 points at 24,811.50 points.

Big volatility seen in the shares of Bharti Airtel and Tata Motors

On Thursday, the shares of 17 Sensex companies closed with gains while the shares of the remaining 13 companies closed with a decline. Bharti Airtel's shares closed with the highest gain of 1.51 percent. Apart from this, Tata Steel closed with a gain of 1.45 percent, ICICI Bank's shares closed with a gain of 1.40 percent, Titan's shares closed with a gain of 1.23 percent, Asian Paints' shares closed with a gain of 1.07 percent. While Tata Motors' shares closed with the highest decline of 1.52 percent.
