National: A case of cheating in the name of mutation of land by posing as CO and employee has come to light in Jamui. Dr. Uma Kumari, a resident of Jamui city and Advocate Abhinandan Singh, father of Advocate Dr. Suryanandan Singh, have been cheated of Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand. In the name of mutation, one lakh 20 thousand rupees have been cheated from lady doctor Uma Kumari and 40 thousand rupees from Advocate Abhinandan Singh. In this case, the doctor and the advocate have given information about the fraud by giving an application in the cyber police station,

Police came into action after FIR

After filing the FIR, the police of the cyber police station swung into action and is questioning two employees of the CO office after taking them into custody. According to the information, all the information regarding land mutation was being passed on to the fraudsters from the government office. It is said that lady doctor Dr. Uma Kumari and advocate Abhinandan Singh had applied in the CO office for land mutation, after which both were called on the scheduled date and time, but the fraudster got wind of it. After that, a woman called and introduced herself as the CO of Jamui and got Rs. 1.20 lakh transferred online, saying that she would not come to the office on the given date.

This amount was taken in several installments on different accounts. Giving information about the case, lady doctor Dr. Uma Kumari said that Geeta Devi and Pushpa Devi had bought land from two different people at two different places 4 years ago and due to objections from some people there, the mutation of the land could not be done. After complaining to CO Lalita Devi in ​​Jamui Zone Office, instructions were received to reach with the documents on September 3. Dr. Uma Kumari said that when we were about to come to the office, on the same day, a mobile call came on the doctor's phone saying that I am Rakesh Mishra, PA of CO Mam. Please talk to Madam.

When we talked to the woman, she said that the mutation of the land has been pending for many years and there are some irregularities in the plot which is in the name of Geeta Devi and Pushpa Devi, which will cost some money to correct. Then she got an online transaction of Rs 10,000 in the name of fees and Rs 9,000 each in the name of resume papers of both the plots, i.e. Rs 18,000. In this way, Rs 24,600, Rs 11,000 and then Rs 15,000 were transferred in the form of different funds and a total of Rs 12,0600 was defrauded, while advocate Abhinandan Singh was called by someone posing as an employee and he was also told not to come to the office on the date given for getting the mutation done and Rs 40,000 was transferred online to different accounts in lieu of the work being done.

After a few days, when they got suspicious, the website of the zonal office was searched. Then both of them came to know that they have been cheated. The victim doctor and Dr. Suryanandan's father filed an application in the cyber police station. The police is busy investigating the incident. In the initial investigation of the Jamui Cyber ​​​​Police Station, on getting clues of collusion of two private employees of the CEO office, both the employees have been taken into custody, from whom intensive interrogation is going on.
