National: A tragic road accident has taken place in Jind, Haryana. Seven people have died in this accident, while eight people are injured. This accident took place around 1 am late night on Hisar-Chandigarh National Highway. A truck hit the Tata Magic from behind. After this, the Tata Magic fell into a ditch and overturned. According to the information, the people in the Tata Magic were going from Kurukshetra to Gogamedi.
According to the information received, 15 people from Marcheri village of Kurukshetra in Haryana were going to Gogamedi in Rajasthan in a Tata Magic vehicle. It is being told that these people left home on Monday evening. During this, when the Tata Magic reached near Bidharana village of Narwana, a truck loaded with wood hit it from behind between Bidharana village and Shimla on the Hisar-Chandigarh National Highway.
Seven ambulances reached the spot
. After this accident, there was a lot of commotion at the accident site. People got stuck under the Magic. Nearby vehicles tried to pull people out, but due to darkness on the road, people's efforts failed. After which the police was informed about the accident. Police said that when the police reached the spot after getting the information, the food items including utensils of the devotees were scattered there.
People were soaked in blood and were groaning in pain. Seven ambulances were called one after the other. People were immediately rushed to Narwana Civil Hospital, where the doctor declared seven people dead. While the rest of the injured were referred to Agroha Medical College in Hisar for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as 50-year-old Rukmani, 35-year-old Kamini, 55-year-old Tejpal, 50-year-old Suresh, 50-year-old Paramjeet, and 50-year-old Mukti. The police have taken the truck into custody and started investigating the case.
