National: All the parties are busy making strategies for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, a video of Jammu and Kashmir is going viral, in which some people are raising objectionable slogans in favor of former DPAP leader and independent candidate Ghulam Mohammad Saruri at a meeting of an independent candidate from Inderwal seat. Now a notice has been sent to Saruri in this matter. Along with this, a case has also been registered against unknown persons.

However, Ghulam Mohammad Saruri said that he was not aware of any such meeting where provocative slogans were raised by his supporters. Responding to the notice served to him by the Returning Officer, Saruri said that he is a former minister and three-time MLA from the assembly constituency. Some mischievous people have made the edited video viral to create a bad atmosphere in this festival of democracy and to tarnish his image.

Case filed against unknown youth
According to news agency PTI, in the video some youth are seen raising slogans in favor of Saruri, in which they can be seen raising slogans like 'Yahan kya chalega, Nizam-e-Mustafa' (Sharia rule will be implemented here). Meanwhile, Inderwal Assistant Commissioner and Returning Officer Idris Lone has filed a case and ordered the police to investigate the viral video.

He said that in the video some unidentified people are seen raising objectionable, provocative and inappropriate slogans in favour of Saruri. Such provocative slogans or propaganda is a violation of the Model Code of Conduct. He said that a case has been registered at Police Station Chatru under the relevant sections of the Representation of the People Act and the accused are being searched.

Let us tell you, Ghulam Nabi Azad's party DPAP refused to give ticket to Ghulam Mohammad Saruri from Inderwal seat. After this, he decided to contest the election as an independent.
