What documents are required to apply for the Sahara Refund Portal?

-The customer has to provide the membership number of investment in Sahara.
-The customer has to provide the deposit account number.
-The customer should have an Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
-The depositor should have the passbook.
-PAN card should be there (if the amount is more than 50 thousand)

-To get a Sahara refund, first register on the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal (https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/Depositor/Register).
-For registration, fill in the last 4 digits of Aadhaar and your mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
-After this, OTP will come to the mobile number, which must be filled out. After this, the form will open in front of you.
-After downloading the offline form, fill it out, scan it and upload it on the portal.
-After checking the given information, the refund amount will be sent.

When has the CRCS-Sahara refund portal been started?

The process started after the Supreme Court gave the order. The CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal was launched on 18 July 2023 to submit claims for refund of legitimate deposits of genuine depositors of 4 multi-state cooperative societies of the Sahara Group . These Saharami societies are Sahara Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Lucknow, Saharayan Universal Multipurpose Society Ltd., Bhopal, Hamara India Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Kolkata and Stars Multipurpose Cooperative Society Ltd., Hyderabad.
