Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the answer key for the Integrated 70th Combined Competitive Exam. In this answer key, the commission has cancelled 3 questions of the re-examination. Regarding this, the commission has said that the marks fixed for the removed questions will be given equally to all the candidates. However, for information, let us tell you that the commission has clarified that it has not removed any question from the paper of 13 December. Objections have been sought from the candidates on this answer key till 16 January. If the students have any objection regarding any question, then they can register their objection with the correct information.

What was said in the notice?

While releasing the answer key, the Commission said that the Integrated 70th Combined (Pre.) Competitive Examination was conducted peacefully and successfully on 13 December 2024 at 911 examination centers in the state. The re-exam of Bapu Examination Complex Center was also conducted peacefully and successfully on 04 January 2025 at 22 exam centers. 

While releasing the interim answer key of these two papers, candidates have been asked to submit their claims/objections till 16 January 2025. After processing the claims/objections of the candidates by the committee of subject experts on the objections received, the final model key will be issued as per the prescribed procedure. It was further said that in case a question is deleted, the marks allotted for that question will be given to all the candidates.

The questions that were deleted

  • Question number 13 has been removed by the commission (Set-I-Question 13, Set-J-05, Set-K-28, Set-L-20)

The answer is that before 2000 AD, the Tropic of Cancer passed through Bihar, now it passes through Jharkhand. None of the options is correct, so the question was removed.

  • In question number 79 (Set-I-Question-79,Set-J-88,Set-K-93,Set-L-109)

The answer to this question is that there was no snowfall in UP after Uttarakhand was separated from Uttar Pradesh. None of the options is correct for this, so the question has been removed.

  • In question number 91 (Set-I-Question-91,Set-J-82,Set-K-97,Set-L-08)

The answer is that no census was conducted in the year 2023, the figures released in 2023 are just an estimate and cannot be called a census. Due to Covid, the census could not be conducted in the year 2021 and now it is likely to be conducted in 2025. In this also, no option is correct, due to which this question was also removed.
