Kumbh Mela 2025:  Maha Kumbh 2025 is to be organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh next month. Crores of people are expected to attend this fair which will last for a month. The administration's preparations for the fair are still incomplete, but cyber thugs have made full preparations. A case of fraud by creating a fake website of a hotel has come to light in Prayagraj. Here four friends together created a fake website in the name of a hotel and also gave rooms on rent. When the victim reached there to stay, the fraud was revealed. 

The thugs started cheating by creating a duplicate website of the city's famous hotel Kanha Shyam. When a person who had booked a room from their website reached the hotel, he realized that he had been cheated. After this, the Cyber ​​Cell Unit of Prayagraj started an investigation and arrested four people from different places after raiding. These people were targeting Maha Kumbh and committing fraud in the name of hotel and tent booking.

The accused are from Bihar and UP

Police have arrested four people in this case. The first accused, Pankaj Kumar is from Bihar. Yash Chaubey and Ankit Kumar are residents of Banaras. The fourth accused Aman Kumar is from Azamgarh. All four of them are very high tech fraudsters. These people first closely inspected the hotels in Prayagraj and searched their websites, then made some changes in it and registered the domain. After this, they prepared the same website of the hotel and tent cottage company and started booking by giving offers.

Mobile and laptop recovered

This fraud was revealed when a person trapped in their trap booked a hotel and reached there to stay. After reaching the hotel, the victim came to know that he had booked the hotel by making payment on a fake website. When the entire matter was explained to the police, investigation began and now all four accused are in police custody. Laptop, mobile and ATM card have also been recovered from them.
