Due to this, people got relief from the harsh cold. Due to sunshine, an increase in the maximum temperature was seen. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature of the day was 21.2 degrees Celsius, which was 1.3 degrees more than normal. The humidity level in the air was between 100 to 59 percent.

People got relief on Makar Sankranti

Apart from this, Delhi's average AQI was recorded at 275 on Tuesday, which indicates poor air quality. A day earlier, on Monday, 248 AQI was recorded here. That is, within just 24 hours, there was an increase of 27 points in AQI. Let us tell you that on Tuesday, Gautam Buddha Nagar witnessed bright sunshine. The Meteorological Department says that on Wednesday, there may be a drop in temperature amid light clouds at some places. At present, people have got relief from the cold. Two days of sunshine gave relief from the severe cold that was prevailing for the last one week.
