New Delhi: Bihar's ruling Janata Dal (United) has criticized Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal for his statement about the people of Purvanchal. JDU said on Thursday that Arvind Kejriwal's repeated insults to the people of Purvanchal are intolerable. He should apologize for this immediately. JDU further said that the people of Purvanchal will settle the score for this insult in the Delhi Assembly elections. This reaction of JDU came after Kejriwal's statement in which he accused the BJP of tampering with the voter list in the New Delhi Assembly constituency and lodged a complaint with the Election Commission.

Kejriwal accused of adding new names

Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that people associated with BJP have applied to add names of 13,000 new voters in the voter list. He has demanded cancellation of 5,500 voter entries to influence voting in his favour. BJP national president J.P. Nadda has shared a video on social media platform 'X'. In this, Kejriwal can be heard talking to the media saying that "13,000 applications for making votes have come in the last 15 days. Apparently these people are getting fake votes made by bringing people from UP, Bihar and nearby states."

Sanjay Jha said- Delhi is not your property

Hitting back at the former Delhi chief minister, JD(U) national working president Sanjay Jha questioned him as to why he hates the people of Bihar and UP so much. He said on 'X', "You should not forget that Delhi is not your property, it is the capital of the country and belongs to all the countrymen. The people of Bihar and UP have achieved a position not only in Delhi but all over the world on the basis of their hard work and talent." Taking a jibe at Kejriwal, he said that the 'Sheesh Mahal' that the AAP convenor has built for himself is also built using the tax money of the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh living in Delhi. He said, "Your repeated insult of the people of Bihar and UP is intolerable. You should immediately apologize."

Insulted even during corona period

At the same time, JD (U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad also questioned Kejriwal as to why he repeatedly insults the people of Bihar. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said that today once again he has blamed the BJP for making the people of Bihar fake voters. He said that even before this, during the Corona period, Kejriwal had accused the people of Bihar that they book train tickets for Rs 500 and avail medical facilities worth up to Rs 5 lakh in Delhi. Rajiv Ranjan Prasad said, "This process of insulting the people of Purvanchal is continuing from his side, so the people of Bihar have also made up their mind that all the people of Bihar living in Delhi will strongly oppose Kejriwal and will leave no stone unturned to sink the boat of Aam Aadmi Party."
