Akhnoor: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has made a big statement regarding PoK and Pakistan. Speaking at the 9th Armed Forces Veterans Day program, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that Jammu and Kashmir is incomplete without PoK. PoK is nothing more than a foreign territory for Pakistan. Addressing ex-servicemen in Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir, the Defence Minister said that Pakistan is using the land of PoK to promote terrorism. Even today, terrorist training camps are running there. India has always defeated Pakistan: Defence Minister
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that the war between India and Pakistan was fought in Akhnoor in 1965. India was successful in thwarting the efforts of the Pakistani army. India has always defeated Pakistan in all the wars fought in history. Pakistan has been promoting illegal infiltration and terrorism since 1965. Our Muslim brothers have sacrificed their lives fighting against terrorism. Even today, more than 80% of the terrorists entering India are from Pakistan. Cross-border terrorism would have ended in 1965 itself, but the then central government was unable to convert the tactical advantage gained in the war into a strategic advantage.
Defense Minister praised Omar Abdullah
Rajnath Singh said that the top priority of our government is to bridge whatever gap exists between Kashmir and the rest of the country. Steps are being taken in this direction by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The Veterans Day celebrations in Akhnoor prove that Akhnoor has the same place in our hearts as Delhi.
Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir never supported Pakistan
Rajnath Singh said, “Neither during the 1965 war nor during the peak of terrorism did the people of Jammu and Kashmir support Pakistan. Instead, many of our Muslim brothers here sacrificed their lives fighting terrorism. He also highlighted the sacrifices of individuals like Mohammad Usman, who laid down their lives to protect the sovereignty of the country. He said that even today, despite international pressure, Pakistan has not given up its policy of supporting terrorism.
