Business: The competition between Swiggy and Zomato in the food delivery segment is years old. However, Zomato succeeded in bringing its IPO to the market first and today due to the tremendous surge in its stock, Zomato has left Swiggy far behind. But now Swiggy has also geared up. It has announced to bring a big IPO, which will be launched in the market soon. Before that, the company is taking big decisions one after the other. Recently, Swiggy Instamart had announced 24-hour delivery in three cities of Delhi-NCR. Now Swiggy has said on Friday that it will deliver food in just 10 minutes. Swiggy Bolt has currently been launched in 6 cities.

This strategy has been successful in the quick commerce sector

Till now this strategy has been used in the Quick Commerce sector. The interesting thing is that there too the main competition is between Swiggy and Zomato. Swiggy has started a tough fight in Quick Commerce through Instamart and Zomato through Blinkit. According to Swiggy, under Bolt you will be able to order things like burgers, tea-coffee, cold drinks, breakfast and biryani. It takes very little time to prepare these things. Swiggy Bolt has currently been launched in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Bangalore. Soon it will be launched in other cities as well.

You must order from a restaurant located within 2km area

Swiggy said that they will also deliver ice cream, sweets and snacks under this scheme. However, consumers will have to order from restaurants located within their 2 km radius. The company's CEO Rohit Kapoor said that the delivery partner will neither get any incentive nor will have to pay any penalty for bolt and regular orders. According to Rohit Kapoor, Swiggy has worked to bring the order time to 30 minutes. Now we want to take it to 10 minutes.
