UPPSC PCS Prelims exam: UPPSC PCS Prelims exam is being conducted today at examination centers in various cities across Uttar Pradesh. After the completion of the first shift amid tight security arrangements, the second shift exam has also started. The preliminary exam of UPPSC PCS is being conducted in 75 districts of the state. Let us tell you that UPPSC PCS Pre exam is being organized at a total of 1331 examination centers in Uttar Pradesh. This time around 5,76,154 candidates are appearing in the UPPSC PCS Pre exam. Security arrangements have been made very strict for fairness and transparency in the exam and strict and foolproof arrangements have been made.

Tight security arrangements for the exam

  • The question papers have been delivered to the examination centres through digital locker. 
  • Along with this, the candidates have been identified through eye scanning. 
  • Sector Magistrates, Static Magistrates and Centre Administrators have been deployed to ensure fair and successful conduct of the examination. 
  • Artificial Intelligence Technology (AI Technology) is also being used along with CCTV cameras in the exam. 
  • AI will provide eight types of alerts regarding the exam taking place today.
  • CCTV cameras have been installed at all examination centres. 
  • There is also a ban on opening any photo state, cafe etc. shops within 200 meters radius of the examination centre.
  • The examination is being monitored from the strong rooms built in all the examination centres to the district headquarters.
  • Along with the static magistrate, the flying squad will also monitor the examination.

Important Instructions

Candidates appearing for the second shift exam can take a look at the important points mentioned below. 

  • Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre 1 hour 30 minutes before the scheduled time of examination. The entry gate will be closed 45 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
  • Candidates must carry their admit card with them, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination unless he/she has the admit card. 
  • Candidates should not write their roll number anywhere other than in the space provided on the cover of their answer sheet/books else their marks will be deducted. Candidates should also not write their name anywhere else else they may be disqualified.
  • Candidates are advised to bring their ID along with two photographs and a photocopy of the admit card.
