In this connection, now another district has closed all schools up to class 12th.

For how long were the schools closed?

The name of the district is Lakhimpur Kheri, on the orders of District Magistrate Durga Shakti Nagpal, DIOS Dr. Mahendra Pratap Singh has declared holiday in schools up to class 12th. In the order issued, DIOS said that due to cold, classes from nursery to class 12th of all boards are being postponed till January 14. However, if the time for practical exams or pre-board exams is already fixed in any recognized school, then they are allowed to call high school and intermediate students on time.

Till when are they closed in Lucknow

Earlier, all schools up to class 8th have been ordered to remain closed in the state capital. At the same time, the DM had also issued instructions regarding changing the timings of schools from class 9th to 12th. In its order, it was said that students from class 9th to 12th will study from 10 am to 3 pm. At the same time, all government and private schools up to class 8th will remain closed till January 14.

After this, a holiday order was also issued in Farrukhabad district, in which District Magistrate Dr. VK Singh ordered all schools to remain closed till January 14. It was further said that the district is experiencing severe cold, due to which this decision has been taken.
