The minimum temperature of Hisar on Monday was 0.6 degrees, which reached 1.6 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. At the same time, a dense fog alert has been issued in many states of UP.

Mercury in Pachmarhi of Madhya Pradesh was 2.4 degrees

Due to change in the direction of winds, night temperature has started increasing in Madhya Pradesh. Minimum temperature in four cities Pachmarhi, Mandla, Umaria and Naugaon was less than five degrees. On Wednesday, the lowest temperature of 2.4 degree Celsius was recorded in Pachmarhi. According to meteorologists, minimum temperature may increase by up to three degrees in the next three days.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, cold wave affected Umaria, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla, Seoni, Naugaon. There was light to moderate fog in the morning in Bhind, Morena, Gwalior, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Panna and Chhatarpur. Currently, jet stream (winds blowing from west to east at a speed of 231 km per hour at a height of 12.6 km) is present over North-West India.

A low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal

A low pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. There is a cyclone in the upper part of the air in the Arabian Sea. A western disturbance is active in the form of a trough in and around Pakistan. An induced cyclone has formed over south-western Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan.

 

 

Temperatures will drop further in the next few days

Former senior meteorologist of Meteorological Centre, Ajay Shukla said that due to the effect of western disturbance and induced cyclone around Pakistan, the direction of winds is becoming easterly and north-easterly. Due to this, the minimum temperature has started increasing a bit. In the next three days, the night temperature in the state may increase by three to four degrees.

Rajasthan in the grip of cold wave

There is severe cold in many areas of Rajasthan and cold wave continues. According to Jaipur Meteorological Center, the weather in the state remained generally dry in the last 24 hours. During this period, cold wave to severe cold wave was recorded at some places. There was also fog at some places in eastern Rajasthan.
