The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for September (Bank Holidays in September 2024). According to the bank holiday list, banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in September. This includes national and regional holidays as well as Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays.

On September 7, on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji will remain closed

15th September is Sunday. There will be a bank holiday across the country on this day.

Baravafat is on 16th September. On this day there is a bank holiday in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Aizawl, Chennai, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Kochi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Ranchi, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram.

Banks in Gangtok and Raipur will remain closed on September 17 on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.
