About 20 people have died here. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy to hefty rains in some state districts in the next 24 hours. Given this, the district administration of many districts has announced to keep the schools closed on Monday.

After the IMD alert, the district administration of Jaipur, Jaipur Rural, Dausa, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur and Bharatpur have decided to keep the schools closed, given the interests of the children. It was said in these districts that because of the heavy rain alert, keeping in mind the interests of the children, it has been decided that all government and private schools in the districts (Jaipur, Jaipur Rural, Dausa, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur and Bharatpur) will remain closed today on Monday.

20 dead so far

There is news that about 20 people have died due to drowning in the state. In Jaipur alone, 5 people have died in the overflowing Kanota Dam. Due to rain, the situation has worsened in Karauli, Hindaun, Gangapur City, Dholpur, Bharatpur and Sawai Madhopur in the Bharatpur division. There is news of 7 people dying in Bayana, 2 in Karauli and 1 in Sawai Madhopur. NDRF teams are trying to evacuate people. Here, due to heavy rain, water is overflowing in Karauli's Panchana Dam, due to which 6 dam gates have been opened.
