Education News : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the UGC-NET June 2024 exam scheduled to be held on August 26. The agency has also uploaded the UGC NET June 2024 exam city slip on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Now, this exam will be conducted on August 27. NTA has also given the reason for this. The agency has said that the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024) has been postponed due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami on August 26.

Notice issued

The agency has issued a notice in this regard on its official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The official notice read, 'Due to Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 26 August 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to reschedule the examination of 26 August 2024 to 27 August. The rest of the schedule will remain as per the public notice of 2 August.'

The exam city slip has already been uploaded

The testing agency has already uploaded the UGC NET 2024 exam city slip on its website for the exam to be held on August 21, 22 and 23. The exam city slip of the result examinations will be uploaded on the official website in due course. All candidates are advised to keep a track of the official website of NTA for the latest updates.
