These candidates would not have even thought that they would get the offer letter for the campus placement held in the year 2022 in the year 2024, that too after more than half a year has passed. This has happened in Infosys, a company considered to be a big name in the field of IT. The company had selected some candidates in the campus placement in the year 2022 and they have now been given the offer letter.

Joining will be from October

According to the IT employee union Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES), this offer has come after two and a half years. Under this, offer letters have now been given to 1000 selected candidates. These posts are of system engineer and they have to join from 7 October 2024.

The company in question

Due to such a long delay, the company has suddenly come into the limelight. According to a PTI report, Infosys officials said that the offers we had given will remain the same as before. Those who have been given jobs by the company will be appointed, only the dates may change a little.

Two years of waiting

The Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate sees this as a victory for the candidates and unions who have been waiting for a job for two years. The IT Employees Union believes that even after two years, these engineers got the job as promised. Now they will be able to join from October 7. During this time, the candidates and the union stood together and passed through this difficult time with courage.

If there is a problem somewhere...

The IT Employee Union also says that the company has given offer letters to the selected candidates, albeit late. Now it just remains to be seen that they join on the said date and there is no other problem. If any new problem arises or there is delay in joining, then a protest will be held against the company.
