Education News : A golden opportunity has come for the students preparing for the DEE to get a government job. The Director of Elementary Education, Assam, will close the DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2024 registration process on 12 August 2024. Candidates who are eligible for these posts can apply online by visiting the official website of DEE, Assam at dee.assam.gov.in. For your information, the link to apply will be closed at midnight.

For information, let us tell you that under this recruitment campaign, 35133 Assistant Teachers of Lower Primary, Assistant Teachers of Upper Primary and Science Graduate Teachers in Upper Primary etc. will be recruited in the state. The registration process for these posts was started on 5 August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should work as contract and state pool contractual teachers under SSA till July 31, 2024. Also, the candidates should have completed 5 years of continuous service under SSA on contract and as state pool contractual teachers till July 31, 2024. Also, please note that this recruitment is only for the people of Assam.

Salary

The candidates selected for these posts will get a salary on the basis given below.

Starting pay of Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) is Rs.14,000/- to Rs.70,000/- plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible as per “Assam Service (Pay Revision) (Amendment) Rules, 2019”.
