UP NEET UG counselling 2024: Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, has announced the schedule for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (UP NEET UG) 2024 counselling. The schedule has been released on the official website. Interested candidates can check it out by visiting the official website. 

As per the schedule released, the registration window for UP NEET UG 2024 counselling will open on August 20. Eligible candidates can apply for UP NEET UG counselling 2024 through the official website upneet.gov.in.

How long will the registration process last? 

As per the schedule, the UP NEET UG 2024 counselling registration process will continue till 24 August. Admission to 85 per cent of state quota seats in government medical colleges and all MBBS and BDS seats in private medical colleges will be made based on NEET UG 2024 merit list.

Important Dates

• Date for online registration and uploading of documents- 20 August to 24 August
• Registration and payment of security amount- from 20th August to 24th August
• Date of declaration of merit list- by 24 August
• Online choice filling - from 24 August to 29 August
• Declaration of seat allotment result – by August 30
• Date for downloading allotment letter and admission- 31 August to 5 September

Registration Fee 

To participate in UP NEET UG counselling 2024, candidates must register online through the website upneet.gov.in by paying a registration fee of Rs 2,000. 

Candidates must deposit the security amount online, which is Rs 30,000 for government state quota seats, Rs 2,00,000 for private medical colleges seats, and Rs 1,00,000 for private dental colleges seats. 

Candidates belonging to reserved categories such as Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) must submit caste certificates in the prescribed format. They are required to submit caste certificate issued on or after April 1, 2024.
