This time an interesting contest in Jammu and Kashmir

This time, an interesting contest is going to be seen in the elections of Jammu Kashmir. On one hand, BJP is contesting all 90 seats alone, while Congress has formed an alliance with National Conference. Mehbooba Mufti's party PDP is also contesting alone, while for the first time this time, Aam Aadmi Party is also trying its luck in the Jammu Kashmir elections.

The last elections were held in 2014

Earlier, assembly elections were held in Jammu and Kashmir in 2014. At that time, this state was not a union territory. In that election, PDP won 28 seats, Bharatiya Janata Party won 25 seats, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference won 15 seats and Congress won 12 seats. Later, People's Democratic Party (PDP) and BJP formed the government together.
