National: Three Army personnel were killed and four others injured when a truck fell into a deep gorge in Arunachal Pradesh's Subansiri district. An Itanagar police official said the three jawans died on the spot while four others sustained injuries in the accident.
The martyred soldiers were personnel of the Eastern Command of the Army. At the same time, the Eastern Command has expressed grief over the death of its personnel. The martyrs have been identified as Havildar Nakhat Singh, Naik Mukesh Kumar and Grenadier Ashish.

Army Eastern Command Commander Lieutenant General RC Tiwari expressed grief over the incident and said that I express my deepest condolences on the tragic demise of brave Havildar Nakhat Singh, NK Mukesh Kumar and GDR Ashish, who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty in Arunachal Pradesh. The Indian Army stands firmly with the bereaved families.
