National: Rape cases are being reported every day in the country. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma gave his reaction on this. He said, every incident of rape should be unequivocally condemned, as it represents a serious violation of human dignity and it is our collective responsibility to work towards eliminating this heinous crime from society.

In his post, he has posted a chart showing how many rape cases have been registered in Assam from 2001 to 2024. He said, this chart reflects our ongoing efforts and commitment to create a safer and more equitable environment for all, especially our women.

'Hindus fighting for their rights'

CM Sarma has also given his statement regarding the citizens coming to India from Bangladesh. He said that Hindus are not trying to enter India from Bangladesh but they are fighting for their rights.
