National: The case registered against former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa for sexually assaulting a minor will be heard in the Karnataka High Court on Friday. Earlier, a bench headed by Justice M. Naga Prasanna has heard the POCSO case registered against Yeddyurappa as well as his petition seeking anticipatory bail.
The bench had issued an order not to arrest Yeddyurappa and to extend exemption from attending the hearing. At the same time, the victim's lawyer has demanded that Yeddyurappa be arrested and questioned and he be given time to present his arguments.
