National:  Heavy rains are causing havoc in many states of the country. It is raining heavily from Delhi to Gujarat and Rajasthan. Gujarat has been flooded after heavy rains. Rivers in the state are in spate. The situation is getting worse. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for many states.

Situation worsened due to floods in Gujarat

So far 30 people have died due to heavy rains in Gujarat. NDRF teams have been deployed for relief and rescue work. Many people have been rescued so far. Apart from NDRF, SDRF, Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Coast Guard are also engaged in rescue operations.

Alert in 11 districts of Gujarat

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for 11 districts of Gujarat and a yellow alert for some districts. Meanwhile, PM Modi has spoken to the state CM Bhupendra Patel. Meanwhile, an Indian Air Force helicopter rescued four people from Devbhoomi Dwarka on Thursday. Six contingents of the Indian Army are carrying out rescue operations in the worst-affected areas.
