National: Three students drowned in the river while making reels late on Friday evening in Bettiah, where two youths died due to drowning. The incident took place in Kartaha river in Basantpur of Narkatiaganj. The deceased have been identified as Sachin Kumar and Prince Kumar. Here, after the death, there is an uproar among the families of both the deceased. 

The student was fond of making reels

The same people told that three students were making reels by jumping into the river, in which two students drowned. Both the students died due to drowning in the river. On getting the news of drowning, a huge crowd of villagers gathered on the banks of the river. Local head Ajay Singh alias Sarkari Singh, who reached the spot, said that all the students were preparing for the army and keep running in the village. During the race, all the students felt hot. During this, all the students jumped into the river to take a bath, in which both of them died.

NDRF did not remove the body

The head informed the police station. The police reached the spot and informed the NDRF. The NDRF team reached the spot, but due to it being night, the team could not find the bodies. The NDRF team left citing it was morning. Seeing the uproar of the people, the local head Ajay Singh alias Sarkari Singh installed a generator light at night and with the help of the people, got both the bodies out at midnight. The police present on the spot took the bodies in their custody, got them post-mortem done and handed them over to the family members.
