National: The decision taken by former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan during his tenure has been changed by the Mohan Yadav government. Shivraj Singh Chouhan had closed the CPA which will be restarted by Mohan Yadav. In fact, while being the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had decided to close the Capital Project Administration (CPA) in August 2021, which was created for the responsibility of all the development works including roads and parks of the capital Bhopal.

This decision was taken during the tenure of Shivraj Singh Chauhan due to the problem of dilapidated roads. It was closed even before the assembly elections. CPA was dissolved in April 2022 and the responsibility of roads, buildings and parks of the capital Bhopal went to the PWD and Forest Department.

Will restart the closed scheme
But Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has decided to restart this closed scheme once again. For this, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has requested Union Housing and Urban Affairs and Energy Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to revive this institution and provide technical assistance. Mohan Yadav met Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar in which this help has been sought.

Mohan Yadav sought help from Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
He said that the Capital Project Administration (CPA) in Bhopal city has been an organization that has been involved in the construction, development and maintenance of roads, parks and buildings, besides the protection and development of Nazul land. In such a situation, he requested the Union Minister to revive this organization so that in future CPA can again contribute to the development activities of Bhopal city. The Union Minister assured to provide all possible help to the state government in this regard.
