National: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many cities of Madhya Pradesh today (Wednesday, September 4). The Meteorological Department said that the least rainfall has been recorded in Rewa since July 1 till today. Here, there has been 29 percent less rainfall than normal, whereas almost normal or more rainfall has been recorded in all other cities of Madhya Pradesh. So far, the state has received 11% more rainfall than normal.

According to the information received from the officials of the Meteorological Department, there may be moderate rain in many cities of Madhya Pradesh today. These include Sheopur Kala, Guna, Rajgarh, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Jhabua, Khandwa, Dewas, Harda, Morena, Bhind, Chhatarpur, Agar Malwa districts. The Meteorological Department has also indicated that there may be drizzle in many cities. 

These include the districts of Bhopal, Alirajpur, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Damoh, Shivpuri, Barwani, Dhar, Shajapur, Khargone, Burhanpur, Balaghat, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Sagar, Indore, Ujjain, Sehore, Betul, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Gwalior, Chhindwara, Seoni, Datia, Panna.

How much rain fell where?
In the eastern part of Madhya Pradesh, 8% more rain than normal has been recorded. Whereas in the western part, 14% rain has been recorded. Thus, if we talk about the whole of Madhya Pradesh, about 11% more rain has been recorded. Rewa in MP has recorded the least and 29% less rain than normal. Whereas all the districts have received normal or more rain. Sheopur in MP has recorded the highest and 81% more rain than normal.
