National: Two women (mother-daughter) were injured when a police vehicle hit the convoy of Minister Tulsi Silawat near Shani temple in Ujjain. After this incident, the injured were taken to the hospital in a police vehicle. The funeral ceremony of late Poonam Chand Yadav, father of state Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, was held on Thursday, in which public representatives, ministers, MLAs etc. from across the state participated.

State Water Resources Minister Tulsi Silavat was also returning to Indore after attending the event. Meanwhile, near the Shani temple near Dendia, a police vehicle in his convoy hit a scooter while trying to overtake. Prabhat Jaiswal, a resident of Dendia, and his daughter Sakshi were travelling on this scooter. After the accident, both were sent to the hospital in a government vehicle. During this, the minister also stayed on the spot.

Both women suffered head and leg injuries

Police said that in this case Pravah Jaiswal and his daughter Sakshi have suffered leg and head injuries. Both have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Action is being taken against the car driver in this case. He said that as soon as the mother and daughter came on the road on the scooter, a government vehicle overtook them and hit their scooter.
