National: The terror of wolves continues in Mahsi tehsil of Bahraich. Efforts are on to save the villagers from the attacks of man-eating wolves, which have become synonymous with terror in the Mahsi area, and all efforts are being made to catch them. Four wolves have been caught by the forest department so far. Mahsi CHC Superintendent Ashish Verma said that a total of 30 people have been injured so far due to the terror of man-eating wolves in Bahraich. The number of injured is increasing every day. Many people have also lost their lives. 

The administration is constantly trying to catch these man-eating wolves. To catch them, the forest department is also monitoring them with drone cameras. The forest department team has caught and rescued a total of four wolves so far. But many wolves are yet to be caught. The forest department team is conducting search operations throughout the night to catch them. 15 teams have been formed in this case, the effort to catch them is going on through combing with drone-camera, infra red camera, thermal imaging camera. A cage has been installed along with the net.

'People should sleep inside their homes'
Seeing the increasing terror of man-eating wolves in Bahraich, DM Monica Rani has instructed people to remain alert. She said that in the last 2 months, many incidents have come to light that wolves have attacked people in Bahraich and some people have also lost their lives. Public representatives, police department and other departments are working together and trying to save people. They are trying to make people aware that people should sleep inside their homes. The forest department is also making continuous efforts. Four wolves have been caught. Soon more wolves will be caught. Some people have been compensated. We are careful that there is no loss of life and property.

Uttar Pradesh State Forest Minister (Independent Charge) Arun Saxena met the affected families on Wednesday and gave instructions to the officials regarding the rescue operation. The Forest Minister told reporters, "Many departments are engaged in saving the people from wolves. The problem will be solved soon and till then we have appealed to the people to sleep with sticks and closed in their houses. For those houses which do not have toilets or doors, the government is making arrangements for it.
