By-election on 10 seats

Let us tell you that by-elections are going to be held on 10 assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh. BJP, SP and Congress are contesting the elections. Meanwhile, Mayawati's party BSP has also entered. In such a situation, everyone's eyes were on the Milkipur assembly seat. The Bahujan Samaj Party has already announced the name of the in-charge and candidate from the Milkipur assembly seat. Let us tell you that BSP has made Ramkopal Kori its candidate for the assembly by-election from this seat.

BJP may face a tough challenge

On the other hand, after the disappointing performance in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP may face a tough challenge from the opposition alliance 'India' in the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats. By-elections are to be held on 10 seats that fell vacant after nine MLAs were elected as MPs and the MLA of Sisamau assembly constituency of Kanpur city was sentenced to seven years in prison in an arson case. However, the date of the by-election has not been announced yet.

The BJP has vowed to win all 10 seats in the by-elections, but experts say it will not be easy for the party to achieve this target as the Samajwadi Party (SP) and the Congress are preparing to contest the elections together.
