Having registered spectacular victories in the first two matches, the Indian team will play the third and final ODI against Ireland on Wednesday and its intention will be to clean sweep the series. The Indian team has performed brilliantly in batting so far and would like to maintain this momentum. Pratika Rawal, who scored her third half-century in four innings, will be eyeing a century. Along with captain Smriti Mandhana, she has given India a good start in every match. Both of them added 156 runs for the first wicket in the last match, which was their third century partnership in five innings.

The batsmen's excellent performance continues

Mandhana has continued her good form after the series against West Indies. Harleen Deol also played an important innings of 89 runs. India scored 370 runs for five wickets in the last match, which is its highest ODI score. Jemima Rodrigues, who came in at number four in the absence of Harmanpreet Kaur, showed maturity and scored a half-century in 28 balls.

Rodrigues said that there was additional responsibility. Initially, she showed a lot of patience which was very positive because it was important for her to stay at the crease. She was scoring runs but was not able to stay at the crease. She is happy that she could do so today. Experienced batsman Tejal Hasambis also made a comeback and scored a half-century. In the absence of big hitters like Shefali Verma and Harmanpreet, new players like Pratika performed brilliantly and secured their place.

Will have to do better in bowling

Indian bowling has been a cause of concern and the team has failed to take wickets consistently in home conditions, allowing Ireland to score 254 runs for seven wickets in the last match. India is missing fast bowler Renuka Singh and Pooja Vastrakar's injury has added to the woes. Deepti Sharma has taken four wickets so far but Priya Mishra, Sayali Satghare and Titas Sadhu have failed to impress.
