Australia Women Cricket Team: The Australian women's team is to play a multi-format Ashes series against England in 2025. Now the squad has been announced for this. Alyssa Healy has been given the responsibility of captaincy. Australia has announced the squad only for the ODI and T20 series. The team for the historic day-night test to be held in Melbourne will be announced later. 

Sophie Molineau is out of the team

26-year-old Sophie Molineau is out of the series due to a knee injury. She struggled with her knee injury during WBBL 10 and somehow recovered from it and led the Melbourne Renegades to the title. After this, she also played in the series against India. But she could not perform at her best. Due to the injury, Sophie was not included in the ODI series against New Zealand. 

Georgia Voll gave a strong performance

21-year-old young batsman Georgia Voll has been retained in the team. She had shown a strong performance in the series against India. She also got a place in the series against New Zealand, but then she was not able to make it to the playing eleven. Because captain Alyssa Healy had returned after a knee injury. 

National selector praises Georgia Voll

Cricket Australia National Selector Shawn Flegler said that we are happy with the way the team performed in the recent series against India and New Zealand and we believe that we have a balanced team to retain the Ashes. It was good to see Alyssa Healy return against New Zealand and she looked in good rhythm, as well as many batsmen continued their strong form from the recent series against India. Georgia Voll has performed well.
