Smriti Mandhana is in great form 

Opener batsman Mandhana scored 747 runs in 13 innings this year at an impressive average of 57.46 and a strike rate of 95.15 and also took one wicket. 28-year-old Mandhana started her brilliant campaign in 2024 by scoring two centuries against South Africa in Bengaluru in June. After this, she remained in good form till December by scoring two more centuries at the end of the year. Mandhana scored a total of 343 runs in three innings against South Africa in June and was the 'Player of the Series'.

Smriti Mandhana hit her third century just after the completion of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, scoring 100 runs in the final match of India's home series against New Zealand. She scored another century in the final match of the three-match series against Australia in December. However, this century did not help the team and the Australian team won the series 3-0. Mandhana's best all-round performance came in the second match of India's home series against South Africa, when she scored a century and took a crucial wicket to help her team win by four wickets. The winners of the ICC Awards 2024 will be announced at the end of January 2025. 

She has scored 9 centuries in ODI cricket

Smriti Mandhana made her ODI debut for the Indian team in 2013. After this, she has scored a total of 3960 runs in 94 ODIs, which includes 9 centuries. She has also scored 29 half-centuries in her ODI career. Apart from this, she has 3761 runs to her name in T20 Internationals.
