New York:  America's newly elected President Donald Trump has been convicted by the US court in the hush money case (porn star case). However, Trump escaped jail. New York judge Juan Merchan declared Donald Trump guilty in the case of giving secret money to porn star Stormy Daniels but did not give him any punishment. 

Trump escapes jail even after being convicted

 According to the report, the judge ordered Trump to be discharged unconditionally. This means that Trump will neither have to go to jail nor pay any fine. According to the court order, Trump certainly escaped jail but his political career was tarnished. Because this is the first case when a President has been convicted in any case. With this, the matter ended here.

The way is clear for Trump to go for a second term

Trump's unconditional release brought great relief to Trump. According to the information, Manhattan Judge Juan M. Merchan could have sentenced Trump to up to four years in prison. However, he chose a decision that effectively settled the case and prevented many constitutional issues from arising. The court's decision is being seen as a big relief for Trump and it has also cleared the way for him to return to the White House for a second term as President.  

Trump became the first president to be convicted by the court

Trump will be the first person in the US to be formally convicted in a criminal case. This case is related to the payment of US $ 1,30,000 by Trump to porn star Stormy Daniels through one of his aides during the 2016 presidential election so that she would not make public the fact that she had had a sexual relationship with him.

The former president had requested the Supreme Court to stay his sentencing in the case related to paying a porn star to keep her mouth shut. However, the Supreme Court rejected Trump's plea, paving the way for Justice Marchan to announce his sentence on Friday.
