India vs Australia 4th Test Match: The five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played between India and Australia. Three matches of the series have been played and the series is currently tied at 1-1. The Indian team won the first match by 295 runs. After this, the Australian team made a comeback and won the second Test by 10 wickets. The third match was washed away by rain and the Test match was drawn. Now the series has reached the historic ground of Melbourne and the fourth match will be played from December 26. But before this, a lot of water has flown in the Ganges-Jamuna. Star Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has retired and the BCCI has selected Tanush Kotian as his replacement. After this upheaval, it will now be seen what will be the playing eleven of Team India in the fourth Test match.

Rahul and Jaiswal can open

In the first three Test matches against Australia, the responsibility of opening has been taken by young Yashasvi Jaiswal and experienced KL Rahul. In the first Test, Yashasvi played an innings of 161 runs and led Team India to victory. Rahul batted well. But in the second and third Tests, Jaiswal has been a flop and runs have not come from his bat. Rahul scored 84 runs in the third Test match. In such a situation, both these players can be seen opening in the fourth Test match.

Rishabh Pant may get the responsibility of wicketkeeper

Shubman Gill has failed to play a big innings on the Australia tour so far and he is struggling with poor form. He has played innings of 30, 28 and 1 run so far. But the team management can give him another chance and he can be seen playing at number three. It seems almost certain that superstar batsman Virat Kohli will come at number four. Once he settles in at the crease, it becomes difficult to get him out. The responsibility of wicketkeeper can be given to Rishabh Pant. Captain Rohit Sharma can come at number-6.

Bumrah's role will be important

Jasprit Bumrah can be seen shouldering the responsibility of the fast bowling attack. He is in great rhythm and has bowled brilliantly in the series. In the first Test, he led India to victory by taking 8 wickets. In the third Test, he took a total of 9 wickets. Indian cricket fans will once again expect a good performance from him. To support him, Prasidh Krishna can get a chance in the team in place of Mohammad Siraj. Because Siraj has not been able to perform as per his name. On the other hand, Akash Deep was impressive in the third match. In such a situation, he can get another chance. Nitish Reddy and Ravindra Jadeja can be given the role of all-rounders.

Team India's probable playing 11 for the fourth test:

Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Nitish Reddy, Ravindra Jadeja, Prasidh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep.
