Actually, while addressing the fans, Gaikwad's microphone got damaged, due to which he jokingly said that there is probably an RCB fan behind this. His funny comment made the audience laugh and applaud a lot.

The incident happened when the sound team inadvertently switched off the microphone. The anchor jokingly commented, "How can you switch off Rituraj's mic?" to which Gaikwad quipped, "Maybe someone from RCB." The funny joke resonated among fans and guests, further fuelling the ongoing rivalry between CSK and RCB.

It is worth noting that the rivalry between the two franchises has increased since their last encounter in IPL 2024. On May 18, 2024, RCB defeated CSK in a crucial match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, which knocked Gaikwad's team out of the playoff race. This win put RCB in the top four. For RCB fans, this win was especially special as the team finally reached the playoffs after a string of poor performances.
