Deir al-Balah (Gaza Strip). The Israeli army has carried out another major attack on Hamas in the Gaza Strip. At least 26 people have been killed in this attack. Hamas said that this attack was carried out by targeting its security officials and the humanitarian zone declared by Israel. At least 26 people were killed in the Gaza Strip on Thursday in this Israeli air strike. 

"Everyone was taking shelter in their tents to escape the cold and suddenly we saw the world turn upside down. Why and for what?" said Ziad Abu Jabal, a Gaza city evacuee, after the attack on a coastal humanitarian zone called Muwasi. At least 10 people were killed in the early morning attack there. The attacks continued after that, bringing the total number of dead to at least 26 throughout the day. (AP)

A Hamas terrorist was also killed on Thursday

The Israeli army had earlier killed Hamas terrorist Hosam Shahwan in an airstrike on Thursday morning. According to Israel, it killed terrorist Hosam Shahwan, the head of Hamas internal security forces in southern Gaza, in an intelligence-based attack. Shahwan was responsible for helping elements of Hamas' military wing in attacks on the IDF in Gaza.
