Ramstein Air Base (Germany): The war between Russia and Ukraine continues. Both countries are attacking each other continuously. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in their last meeting on Thursday that the next Trump government should continue military aid to Ukraine. They warned that if military support is stopped now, it will "only increase aggression, chaos and war."

What did Zelensky say?

"We have come such a long way that it would be really crazy to give up on war now and not continue the defense alliances that we have built," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. "No matter what is happening in the world, everyone wants to make sure that their country is not wiped off the map."

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin also announced that the US would send $500 million in security assistance to Ukraine. This assistance includes missiles for fighter jets, equipment for F-16s, armored bridge systems, and small arms and ammunition.

What did Lloyd Austin say?

"If Putin swallows Ukraine, his hunger will only increase," Austin told about 50 member nations who have been meeting for the past three years to coordinate arms and military aid for Ukraine. "If dictators believe that democracy will lose its roots, we will see more land grabs. If dictators learn that aggression is profitable, we will see more aggression, chaos and war," he said. (AP)
