The New Year has started here five hours before India. Last night, Sonakshi wished her fans a Happy New Year on Instagram. She posted a video in which she and Zaheer Iqbal can be seen enjoying the spectacular fireworks and celebrations in Australia. They kissed and hugged each other welcoming 2025 in Australian style. Sonakshi wrote in the caption of the post, 'Our Happy New Year is done!!! Happy New Year from Sydney.' Now on this post, her fans are wishing her a Happy New Year.

This is how Sonakshi got married

Sonakshi married Zaheer on June 23 this year in the presence of her loved ones at her home in Mumbai. It was a private wedding. The wedding was followed by a party at Mumbai's famous restaurant and event venue Bastian, which was attended by many Bollywood celebrities. Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before making their relationship official. Recently, on 'The Great Indian Kapil Show', the two spoke openly about their dating life. Recalling his initial attempts to approach Shatrughan Sinha, Zaheer quipped, "When I went to meet him, there were 6-8 bodyguards standing, then how was it possible to ask for his hand in marriage?" The audience laughed at this. 

Sonakshi herself spoke to her father

Sonakshi laughed and said, "Then he told me I think we are ready to talk to the parents and I said yes, so talk to them." Zaheer defended himself saying, 'Why should I talk to them? I have spoken to my father, you should talk to your father.' Sonakshi admitted, 'He was right, so I went to my father and spoke to him and he was happy, so everyone was happy.
