WPL 2025: Preparations have already started for the Women's Premier League 2025. The tournament will be organized in the month of February. The schedule for this can be announced soon. Meanwhile, the BCCI has selected its potential venue for the Women's Premier League. The tournament will be organized in two stages at these two venues. These two venues are in Baroda and Lucknow. It is believed that the tournament will start from February 6 or 7. In which the first stage will be played in Lucknow and the second stage in Baroda. Which will also include the final match.

Venue may be announced soon 

BCCI has not yet given any update on the date and venue to the 5 teams participating in the tournament. However, they have discussed the venue with Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) and Baroda Cricket Association (BCA). It is believed that the venue will be formally announced soon. Many historical matches have been played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. At the same time, the venue in Baroda is still quite new. The first match at this venue was recently played between the Indian women's team and the West Indies women's team. Many women's T20 tournaments and Ranji matches have been played at this venue. This stadium has been built with new facilities. This is the reason why it has been chosen for the semi-finals and finals of WPL.

Final can be played on this day

The BCCI is planning to hold the 23-match WPL in two phases, and it is believed that the BCA wants to host the second phase so that it can get a few weeks to finalise the facilities. The final is likely to be held around March 8-9. The first season of the league was held entirely in Mumbai, while Bengaluru and Delhi hosted the second season. Royal Challengers Bangalore are the winners of the last season. The first season was won by Mumbai Indians.
