How was the search for the ugly woman completed?

This was a superhit film which no actor was ready to do initially. Later Manoj Kumar agreed to do this film. Another interesting thing about this film is that Manoj Kumar gave the role of a real beggar in this film. The work of this beggar woman was also liked a lot in the film. Actually director Raj Khosla needed an ugly dwarf woman for the film 'Woh Kaun Thi' but he was not able to find one.

During this time, Manoj Kumar saw a woman begging near Taj Hotel in Mumbai and got scared. Manoj Kumar found her perfect for the role of that dwarf woman. He told Raj Khosla about this. After a lot of searching, finally that woman was found and she was cast in this film.

The film received the Filmfare Award

It has been more than 70 years since the film was released. It is still considered one of the iconic films in psychological thrillers. The film also won the Filmfare Award for Best Cinematography. The music of the film was given by Madan Mohan who played a big role in making it a hit.
