Sports: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has got its new chairman. India's Jay Shah has been elected to this post without any opposition. Jay Shah did a great job as BCCI secretary and on the basis of this he reached the ICC, but now after his departure, India's concern has increased. BCCI will now have to find its new secretary.
Jay Shah, who was the secretary of BCCI for five years from 2019, did a great job during the challenging times of Covid-19 and did not let the BCCI get into trouble. During this time, the BCCI organized two IPLs brilliantly. Now it is expected that the next secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India will fill the void of Jay Shah, but the question is who will that be?
Who will replace Jai Shah?
Jay Shah entered the board after the Committee of Administrators appointed by the Supreme Court. He became the secretary of BCCI while Sourav Ganguly was the president. Roger Binny became the BCCI president after Ganguly. Binny was also happy with Jay Shah, so BCCI will now need a person who can carry forward the work of Jay Shah and be an efficient administrator like him.
