Actress Revathy Sampath has accused the actor, who has been working in Malayalam cinema for years, of sexual harassment. 

After the sexual harassment allegations, Siddique resigned from the Association of Malayalam Film Artists (AMMA). It is reported that he has also lodged a police complaint against Revathi and called the allegations made by her a conspiracy. Siddique is one of the veteran actors of Malayalam cinema. Before acting, Siddiqui has worked as an electrical engineer in the Kerala State Electricity Board Division. After working for years in acting, he was the general secretary of AMMA for some time. He has two sons. One son Shaheen Siddiqui is an actor and the other Rashin passed away in June 2024 this year. His son was suffering from respiratory disorder.
