Entertainment: Kangana Ranaut's upcoming film 'Emergency' has got a big relief from the censor board. Amidst huge controversy, the censor board has given the film UA certification. Now 'Emergency' can hit the theatres soon but for this the makers will first have to make the cuts and changes suggested by the CBFC in the film.

According to The Sunday Express, the censor board has suggested three cuts for 'Emergency'. It is being told that the makers had submitted the film to the censor board for certification on 8 July itself. A month later, Shiromani Akali Dal and many Sikh organizations started demanding a ban on the film. In such a situation, CBFC suggested 10 cuts and changes to the production house of the film through a letter.

These visuals will have to be removed from the film
'Emergency' production house Manikarnika Films Pvt Ltd had agreed to 9 out of 10 suggestions made by CBFC. The censor board has also advised to remove or change some visuals in a scene from the film. In this scene, Pakistani soldiers are shown attacking Bangladeshi refugees. It is shown that a soldier is beheading a child and another is beheading three women.

Advice was also given to change these things.
CBFC also asked the makers of 'Emergency' to change the abusive words used by someone from the crowd in response to the death of a leader in the film. The board also instructed to change the surname used in a dialogue in the film. Apart from this, CBFC has also advised to mention the factual source for the research references and data shown in the film. This includes information on Bangladeshi refugees, details of court decisions and permission to use archival footage of 'Operation Bluestar'.

The new release date of 'Emergency' may be revealed soon.
Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' was earlier scheduled to release on 6 September. But after the uproar over the film, it did not get certification from the censor board and the release was postponed. Now after getting clearance from the censor board, it is expected that the makers will soon announce the new release date of 'Emergency'.
