Entertainment: Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' is surrounded by controversies. In fact, its release has been opposed by Sikh organizations and its ban has also been demanded. Due to the controversy, the film has not been given a certificate by the Censor Board, due to which its release has been stalled. This film was to be released on September 6. Now Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' did not get any relief from the Bombay High Court today.

Let us tell you that Zee Entertainment Enterprises, the co-producer of the film 'Emergency', had approached the Bombay High Court on Wednesday to demand the release of the film and a censor certificate. And demanded a direction to the censor board to issue a certificate, which could clear the way for the release of the film. The case was heard before a bench of Justice Burgess Colaballa and Justice Firdaus Pooniwala. However, 'Emergency' did not get relief from the High Court either. While hearing the petition, the court said that it cannot ask the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to issue a certificate to the makers of the film as it would contradict the order of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. 

When will the decision come on Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency'
? The High Court has now directed the CBFC to take a decision on the certificate by September 18. The court has also reprimanded the CBFC. Now the petition will be heard again in the court on September 19. Let us tell you that the Jabalpur High Court had banned the release of this film. In such a situation, Kangana's Emergency will not be released on September 6. It will be interesting to see what decision comes regarding the film on September 19. 

Why is there controversy over 'Emergency'?
Let us tell you that 'Emergency' is a political drama film based on the life of former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Sikh organizations have been protesting against this film since the trailer was released. Some Sikh organizations of Shiromani Akali Dal allege that the film has been made with the intention of tarnishing the image of the community. The film is also accused of tampering with historical events and presenting them in a wrong way.

Let us tell you that 'Emergency' has been directed by Kangana Ranaut. She has also played the role of the late former Prime Minister in the film. Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman have also played important roles in the film. This film was to be released on 6 September.
