Women ICC ODI Rankings: India's Smriti Mandhana has gained in the women's ICC ODI rankings. Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has retained her position. Chamari Atapattu, who led Sri Lanka to the Asia Cup title under her captaincy, has suffered a loss in the ICC ODI rankings. She did not play in the ODI series against Ireland. 

Two Indian players are included in the top-10

India's vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has moved up one place to third position in the latest ICC ODI rankings for women. She has gained one position. Mandhana has 738 rating points and is India's top-ranked batsman in the ODI format. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur has retained her ninth position in this list. Only these Indian women players are included in the top-10. 

Chamari Atapattu suffers loss

Sri Lanka's veteran batsman Chamari Atapattu has slipped from third to fourth position. While her team mates Neelakshika de Silva (up three places to 32nd), Harshitha Samarawickrama (up eight places to 44th) and Kavisha Dilhari (up four places to 50th) have improved their rankings. Samarawickrama had performed well for Sri Lanka in the ODI series against Ireland. 

Samarawickrama, who scored 65 runs in 44 balls in the second T20 International, improved three places to 13th, while Lewis, who played a match-winning innings of 119 runs in 75 balls, improved four places to 21st. Lewis had earlier reached this ranking in July 2022. Harshita Samarawickrama and Ireland opener Gabby Lewis have been successful in achieving career best rankings.
